良い名言

最近二つほど良い名言を見て、脳みそに焼き付いてしまったので、書いてみる。

訳：（ソフトウェアやプログラムの）ドキュメンテーションってのはセックスみたいなものだ。よく出来た時は、本当にいい。良くなかったときも、しないよりはいい。

Sentence length is like a girl's skirt:
the shorter is the better,
but it should cover the most important parts.

訳：文章の長さは女性のスカートみたいなものだ。短ければ短いほどいいけれど、「大事な部分」はちゃんと覆わないと駄目だろ。

いやぁ、一生に一つ位これくらいよく出来た名言を残したいものです。って下ねた系ばかり…。
